The Society now offers a new category of Nursery Membership for Clematis Nurseries and related commercial organizations. Please follow this Nursery Membership link for an explanation of the benefits.

When you join the Society you receive:

• a complimentary copy of an old Journal (issue depends on availability and is at the discretion of the Society)
• the last newsletter and seed list (if relevant),
• the latest Membership List for contacting Members,
• information about Council Officers and Members,
• a copy of the Society's Constitution.

The current annual membership is set at 30 EUROS, for one or two people living at the same address, or for a Society. Membership provides single vote and single benefits and is irrespective of country of residence.

Note that for a very modest additional sum you can receive a copy of the latest journal instead. Please see below for details.

To assist members we have a number of currency specific payment points which accept payment in local currency. These are shown below.

Please also inform Horst Weihrauch (email pelkum.gdn@web.de) at the same time so that we can attribute the payment to yourself. Send 45 EUROS for 2008 Membership and a copy of Clematis International 2007 (instead of the complimentary issue of our choice).

Recognizing the international remit of the Society and that payment by the above method may be either unacceptably expensive or even impossible, the Society has arranged other accounts and/or methods of payment by which members can pay. This includes a number of members who have volunteered to act as focal points for collection of fees in local currency and then forward them on, reducing the costs of currency exchange. If you cannot pay in EUROS please following the instructions below.

UK	Payment is UK 18.50 Pounds Sterling. Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer directly from your bank account is the most convenient method for us and probably for you as well, especially if you use either Internet or Telephone Banking. However for security reasons, we have decided we cannot publish our UK Bank Account details anymore in a public forum such as the Internet. We would be pleased to provide them to you on request. As an international Society, we are continually faced with the problem of collecting relatively small sums of money from people from around the world. Currency conversion charges are often greater than the sums involved. Consequently it is very important to follow the instructions above, especially those concerning who to send your payments. Your co-operation is appreciated.

Unfortunately, because of the size and international organization of the Society, it is totally uneconomic to offer payment by credit card.
